We also had a lively panel discussion on “Changing Skills Landscape in AI Era” featuring industry leaders and our accomplished alumni.

We were impressed by the faculty’s extensive qualifications, with many holding PhDs from renowned institutions like IIT and foreign universities.

In a bid to enhance the practical knowledge and skills of third-year Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) students, SNS College of Technology in Coimbatore recently hosted a one-week certification course on VLSI design. Led by industry experts Dr. Meher Abhinav and Hanumant M from Celton Semiconductors pvt ltd. The workshop provided participants with hands-on experience and theoretical insights into VLSI, ASIC Flow, and synthesis using Synopsys EDA tools.

We are pleased to share that ChipEdge Technologies Pvt Ltd has signed a MoU with the Cambridge Institute of Technology (CIT) to set up a VLSI training center on their campus to provide training to students and freshers , as well as to assist faculties from Karnataka and beyond.
The Synopsys Inc. Center of Excellence for Semiconductors at CIT was inaugurated by the Honorable Minister of IT and BT, Priyank M Kharge, Government of Karnataka. We look forward to collaboratively work with Synopsys and the CIT to contribute towards semiconductor workforce development.
