Job Overview: 

We are a Skill Development Company in VLSI / Chip Design. We are looking for Full-Time Physical Design (PD) Mentors and Experts, who are passionate about educating and inspiring students, to deliver classroom sessions on weekdays (Monday to Friday) and to develop content and projects for training.

This job is for you if:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-time courses, including labs and projects.
  • Prepare learners to be industry-ready by imparting the required technical skills.

  • Upgrade training materials, labs, and projects as needed to provide an industry-relevant learning experience.
  • Mentor students on their technical communication skills to work in project teams.

Required Technical Skills:

If you are from Industry Profile:

  • 2-5 years of experience with a Professional PD Certificate.
  • Experience in taping out in the latest technology nodes like 7nm, 10nm, 14nm.
  • Working experience with EDA tools from Synopsys, Cadence, and Mentor Graphics.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently and efficiently drive tasks to completion.
  • Ability to provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and be a good team player.

If you are from Academic Profile:

  • Faculty with a minimum of 5 to 20 years of experience.
  • Knowledge/ Awareness in taping out in the latest technology nodes like 7nm, 10nm, 14nm.
  • Hands on awareness to the EDA tools from Synopsys, Cadence, and Mentor Graphics. In case you do not have hands-on experience in the above, should be willing to learn in a short period of time. ChipEdge will provide the opportunity.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently and efficiently drive tasks to completion.
  • Ability to provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and be a good team player.

  • Coordinate the delivery of courses (B2B, B2C) end to end in the most effective and harmonious way, to give the best learning experience.
  • Work closely with consultant trainers from the industry to ensure courses run smoothly.
  • As the first level of contact for learners, responsible for attending to their needs / problems and offering them the best possible support.
  • To process the Assignments, assessments and certificates in a timely way, as part of the Learning Management System (LMS)
