The Role and Scope of Design Verification Engineer in VLSI

A Design Verification Engineer is responsible for creating and executing testing processes to verify if products function as intended. These highly trained engineers work on building the  Design  verification process, as well as choosing testing environments and developing test plans. By creating relevant assertions and debugging code, they contribute in the design verification and bring-up of such blocks.

Millions of transistors make up an integrated circuit. The digital world is made up of a variety of electronic equipment, such as automation devices, gadgets, and so on, all of which are controlled by a chip or integrated circuit. Design Verification Engineers are needed to verify the functionality of these chips or integrated circuits.
